Mother, naturopath, and advocate for the health of mothers in their early years of motherhood.
As someone who has been where you are right now not too long ago (exhausted, depleted, and running off a handful of hours of broken sleep) I know how debilitating the effects of sleep deprivation can be.
After my own experience of supporting my wakeful baby through the night for over 2 years, I was shocked at how little support there was available for mothers who wanted to continue being responsive in the night but were finding the impacts of sleep deprivation difficult.
The only options presented seemed to be wait it out and suffer in silence, or try some form of sleep training. For many of us, neither option is appealing.
